There’s just two weeks to go until the Kelmarsh Country Show arrives at the grounds of the Kelmarsh estate, with the Easter Bank Holiday set to bring yet another fantastic line-up for the Main Arena. Witness world-class entertainment combined with humour and history to create an action-packed line-up for audiences of all ages.
Attending Kelmarsh this year includes Europe’s number one stunt and trick riding team, the Devil’s Horsemen, who will perform unbelievable, breath-taking displays before your very eyes. The Essex Dog Display Team will also be heading the line-up as 10 various breeds of dogs and their handlers carry out two exceptional displays on each day of the Kelmarsh Country Show.
Terry Large is on the line-up this year too, bringing his popular falconry display to the Arena and sharing with us his wealth of knowledge about some of the most beautiful birds of prey in the world. Chris ‘The Countryman’ Green will also return as he demonstrates everything to do with bird nesting, rabbit catching, pigeon shooting and all there is to know about fishing.
Carrying on with the fishing, and perfect for all angling enthusiasts out there, Hywel Morgan, son of welsh fishing guru Moc Morgan returns for another Show this Easter, bringing his expert knowledge and practical demonstrations in fly-fishing. After spending his childhood in the rivers of Teifi and Ystwyth, Hywel then went on to achieve many fishing accomplishments, including winning the CLA Casting Competitions for three years running by the age of sixteen, the Kelmarsh Country Show once again welcomes Hwyel back to the Arena this Easter.
With Simulated Coursing and game fair stalwart Brian ‘Brin’ Brinded also taking to the Main Arena this year, visitors have lots to look forward to.
Elsewhere at the Kelmarsh Country Show this Easter, visitors can enjoy a dedicated BASC Village housing everything to do with shooting and conservation, a British Hunting Collection, Hot Air Balloons, a Survival Camp and both Craft and Antiques Fairs, not to mention a whole host of family inspired entertainment. From Animal displays, Airsoft to a Pet Dog Show, there is also a huge array of have-a-go fun, musical entertainment and demonstrations in every rural craft. So whether you’re a sportsman, or a family looking for a day out with the kids there is something for everyone to get involved in this Easter.
