There’s just a few more weeks to go until the Kelmarsh Country Show lands inside the glorious Kelmarsh grounds, and this Easter Bank Holiday we’re bringing you a brand new line-up that has something going on for everyone. Take a look at what’s in store this year…
Sponsored by Realtree, this year’s Main Arena promises a jam-packed timetable featuring old family favourites and some fast-paced performances which are sure to wow the crowds this Easter. With fast horses and heroic knights headlining the Show, Kelmarsh is thrilled to welcome back Knights of Middle England to its Arena. A visual feast, the Knights will perform amazing stunts and contact jousting in an interactive showcase that is perfect for families of all ages.
Also included on the line-up this Easter is the Essex Dog Display. This professional dog act leave nothing to chance when it comes to giving the audience an outstanding display and of course features the nation’s most beloved animal too. With 10 various breeds of dogs and their handlers performing two exceptional displays on each day of the Kelmarsh Country Show, visitors are in for a real treat.
If falconry is more your thing, Ye Olde Redtail Falconry do just the trick in balancing education and fun into their display. With lots of audience participation thrown into the mix too, visitors will delight in getting hands-on with some of the most beautiful birds of prey in the world. Also arriving back to the Realtree Main Arena is the super-fun Lamb National. A perfect Easter treat for all ages, visitors can cheer on their favourite jockeys as the Herdwick sheep amaze us with their agile speed – a must for the kids!
Also at Kelmarsh this Easter, visitors can enjoy a dedicated BASC Village housing everything to do with shooting and conservation, a brand new Countryside Arena, a Clay Shooting Festival, the Chudleys Gundog Championship, Fishing Village, Food Festival, World Hunter Field Target Championship, Terrier and Lurcher Events, as well as the ever-popular Folk Roots Festival, a Survival Camp and both Craft and Antiques Fairs, not to mention a whole host of family inspired entertainment. From Practical Horsemanship, Airsoft to Gold Panning, there is a huge array of have-a-go fun and demonstrations in every outdoor pursuit. So whether you’re a sportsman, or a family looking for a day out with the kids there is something for everyone to get involved in this Easter.
